In it’s first week, the UNILAD Facebook page amassed 20,000 followers
Alex Partridge is an entrepreneur and podcaster best-known as the founder of social news and entertainment brands UNILAD and LADBible.
In 2010, whilst studying at Oxford Brookes University, Alex created, designed and wrote UNILAD. Keen to promote his new venture, with the assistance of his house mate, Alex hacked the university database to capture the e-mail addresses of students campus wide.
Shortly after, Alex begun to send daily articles and needless to say, it wasn’t long before Alex heard his fellow students discussing the mysterious UNILAD. In it’s first week, the UNILAD Facebook amassed 20,000 followers.
Continuing it’s meteoric rise, the UNILAD Facebook page quickly gained over 2 million followers with major brands approaching Alex for sponsorship deals.
In his keynote talks, Alex shares the trials and tribulations behind two of the most popular social news and entertainment internet companies in the world including his involvement in a first of it’s kind, high court battle.
In 2023, Alex launched his podcast, ADHD Chatter. In the podcast, Alex chats all things ADHD with a variety of guests. The chats are unfiltered, unedited, unpredictable and provide an insight on living and thriving with ADHD.
After being diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 34, Alex has become a leading voice on social media around neurodiversity.
His impassioned views on entrepreneurship and neurodiversity has quickly amassed him a following of over 350,000 people.
