Almost every occupation requires strong communication skills in one way or another and in business it is vital to the longevity and success of any relationship. At NMP Live we represent some of the most diverse, experienced and sought-after speakers on effective communication in the workplace.

Good communication is clearly and effectively conveying information, feelings or intentions; whether that's between two individuals or the extremely complex and sometimes sensitive world of global business, communicating and trading across language barriers and understanding cultural or generational differences.

Our ability to communicate is one of the most important tools we can develop, and while many of these skills occur naturally in individuals, some need to be learned and practised in order to become second nature.

When there is a breakdown in communication, often workplace efficiency, employee morale and objectives all suffer. However, for some of the speakers we represent, ineffective communication isn’t just the difference between winning and losing, or success and failure, it can literally mean life or death.

From wide-ranging industries and often unique exciting careers, collectively they deliver keynote presentations on all forms of communication; because not only do we communicate with our body, voice, and choice of words we write but also through our attitude and the way we behave.

Whilst the most commonly thought-of forms of communication are verbal, written and body language, other important traits of communication include empathy, understanding, open-mindedness, respect and our ability to listen. Paramount to effective communication — the exchange of information — is understanding the emotion and intentions behind the information.
